Fairbanks, the Golden Heart City in Interior Alaska, presents extreme pet care challenges with winter temperatures dropping to -40F and summer midnight sun. Home to the University of Alaska Fairbanks and Eielson Air Force Base, the city serves as the hub for Alaska's Interior. Neighborhoods like College Hills, Hamilton Acres, and the Goldstream Valley provide pet-friendly living with costs 30-40% above national average due to extreme isolation and climate demands.
